By Subway

• Take the subway from Nishijin station. Purchase ticket for 250 yen (to Tenjin 天神) from a ticket vending machine.
• Take any east-bound train for either Fukuoka Kuko (Airport) 福岡空港 or Kaizuka 貝塚
• Here’s a weekday timetable for east-bound trains from Nishijin.
• Tenjin is the 4th stop from Nishijin, and it will take you 7 minutes.
• Tenjin-Station is directly connected to the Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall. To find an exit close to your destination, use this map (in Japanese).
• If you’re not sure how to get to your destination from Tenjin Station, ask Subway staff, or visit the Information Center (10:00~20:00) located between the Tenjin Station West and East Exits.

By Taxi

• If you take a taxi from Seinan University to Tenjin area, the daytime fare is around 1650 yen.
• Rates increase between the hours of 23:00 and 5:00.
