By Subway and Bus

• Take the subway from Nishijin station. Purchase ticket for 250 yen (to Tenjin 天神) from a ticket vending machine.
• Take an east-bound train for either Fukuoka Kuko (Airport) 福岡空港 or Kaizuka 貝塚
• Here’s a weekday timetable for east-bound trains from Nishijin.
• Tenjin is the 4th stop from Nishijin, and it will take you 7 minutes.
• At Tenjin station, look for signs that lead you toward Tenjin-Minami 天神南 station on Nanakuma Line. Follow the signs and start walking through the Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall.
• On the second corner, turn right and walk into Solaria Stage building.
• Use the escalator in front of you and go to the first floor.
• Use the exit on your right, and then turn left.
• You will find yourself facing a big street (Watanabe-dori Avenue).
• On the side-walk of Watanabe-dori Avenue, you will see bus stop 2A (Tenjin Solaria Stage-mae 天神ソラリアステージ前).
• Take bus #80 from there. You can find bus schedules here (just set the time you want and click "schedules").
• Get off at Hakata Port International Terminal & Chuo Futo 博多港国際ターミナル中央ふ頭. It’s the 8th stop from Tenjin Sorlaria Stage-mae, and it will take you about 20 minutes if the traffic is not bad. The fare is 180 yen.

By Taxi

• If you take a taxi from Seinan University to Hakata Port, the fare will be around 2000 yen.
• If you take a taxi from Tenjin to Hakata Port, it will cost you around 1200 yen.
• Make sure to tell the driver that you want to go to the “International Terminal” 国際ターミナル.
• Rates increase 20% between the hours of 23:00 and 5:00.
