By Bus

• Get on a bus at one of the nearby bus stops; open this map to see their precise locations.
• Buses 11, 19 and 50 will take you to Hakata from the Kokusai Kaigijo Sun Palace-mae (国際会議場サンパレス前) stop.
• Buses 47 and 48 will take you to Hakata from the Kokusai Center Sun Palace-mae (国際センターサンパレス前) stop.
• The one-way fare for adults as far as Hakata Station is ￥220 and takes about 15 minutes.
• Here are the weekday departure schedules for Buses 11, 19 and 50, and here are those for Buses 47 and 48, all of which will take you to Hakata station.
• The buses all continue past the station, so just to be sure, ask the bus driver to inform you when you’ve arrived at Hakata Eki (Station).

By Taxi

• The recommended mode of transportation is by bus; however, if you choose to use a taxi, the fare may run you at least ￥1300, depending on traffic conditions and time of the day. A taxi ride to Hakata Station should take between 12 to 15 minutes. Taxi fares increase by 20% between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m.
